Our facilities have:

  • Animal by Product Approval
  • All bio waste accepted
  • Total capacity stands at 60,000 tonnes per year

Regulation

2010 sees new hard hitting food and waste regulations being implemented in Ireland for the first time leading to the progressive removal of Landfill as the main disposal method for waste in Ireland. For example, the new Food Waste Regulations will legally compel any producer of greater than 50 kilos of food waste per week to ensure it is biologically treated. Our new and expanding composting infrastructure can now effectively deal with this waste. Our new facility in Littleton is the largest purpose built biowaste composting plant in Ireland and has the capacity to cater for food wastes and any other organically based waste generated in the country.
