Acorn has a number of specialised vehicles for collecting grease and
septic waste. Acorn is currently expanding its capacity to handle these
wastes with the development of a hub site in Co. Limerick.
A hub site will allow the delivery of these wastes in tankers. The
tankers offload the wastes into a storage unit from where they are
processed. The wastes and liquid fractions of the waste are treated
either by composting, anaerobic digestion or on to willow plantations
